Real Madrid Secures Argentine Wonderkid for €45 Million

Real Madrid has secured the services of Argentine young talent — Franco Mastantuono from River Plate for a transfer fee of 45 million euros.

The 17-year-old wonderkid has signed a six-year contract that will keep him at Santiago Bernabeu until June 2031.

Mastantuono will continue playing for River Plate until the end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup — only then joining Los Blancos in August.

“We are happy with Franco because he is a young man with a fantastic present and a bright future,” stated coach Xabi Alonso to Marca.
