Real Madrid Ready to Part Ways with Rodrygo, Arsenal Target Chelsea Star

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid are prepared to part ways with winger Rodrygo Goes for a transfer fee ranging between €80-90 million this summer — a decision that comes after the Brazilian’s declining performance.

Los Blancos’ manager won’t stand in the way of Rodrygo’s departure who only managed to score six goals in 30 LaLiga appearances this season — statistics far below the club’s expectations. Concerns have also emerged regarding the 24-year-old’s motivation during training sessions.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are in talks with Chelsea to acquire Noni Madueke. The 23-year-old winger who joined The Blues from PSV Eindhoven is open to the possibility of moving to Emirates Stadium.

“For the second summer in a row, Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is in doubt — but for very different reasons,” states ESPN’s Alex Kirkland.

Arsenal plan to bring in Madueke without affecting their pursuit of Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze. The arrival of the England international would strengthen The Gunners’ attacking line for next season.
