Real Madrid will host Arsenal at Santiago Bernabeu tonight in the second leg of their 2024-25 Champions League quarter-final — following a heavy 3-0 defeat at Emirates last week.

Los Blancos face an uphill task to overturn the three-goal deficit, though they have an impressive history of comebacks in this competition. Former Madrid defender Marcelo expressed his confidence:

“You can never write off Real Madrid. Although three goals is a lot of goals, I always believe Real Madrid can come back.”

The hosts must play without suspended Eduardo Camavinga, while Andriy Lunin and Ferland Mendy remain injured. For the visitors, Arsenal will miss Raheem Sterling due to suspension, while Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu are out until next season.

Statistics show Arsenal have never conceded in their three European meetings against Madrid. Declan Rice — who scored two free kick goals in the first leg — will again pose a threat to the hosts tonight.

The match kicks off at 8:00 PM local time with referee Francois Letexier in charge.
