Real Madrid Brings Back Alvaro Carreras from Benfica with Installment Scheme

Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Benfica for the return of Alvaro Carreras to Santiago Bernabeu, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.

“Real Madrid and Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alvaro Carreras,” reads the club’s official statement.

The left-back joins for a transfer fee of 50 million euros to be paid in installments — a solution finally agreed upon after lengthy negotiations between both clubs.

This agreement comes several months after previous talks stalled — when Benfica wanted payment in two installments, while Los Blancos proposed a longer payment scheme ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
