Razgatlioglu to MotoGP 2026, Miller and Oliveira’s fate hangs in balance

According to Bolasport.com, Toprak Razgatlioglu is confirmed to join Prima Pramac Yamaha for the 2026 MotoGP season — ending speculation that has been ongoing since 2021.

The arrival of the WSBK champion means the team must release one of their current riders — Jack Miller or Miguel Oliveira.

Contract situations indicate Miller’s position is more vulnerable with only a one-year deal, while Oliveira remains tied to a two-year contract with the team.

However, performance-wise, Oliveira finds himself in an unfavorable position — a shoulder injury sustained at Argentina MotoGP has severely impacted his performance.

The Portuguese rider has only collected three points this season from two results:

  • 14th place finish in Thailand MotoGP
  • 15th place finish in Aragon MotoGP

Despite having five MotoGP victories including a historic win at Mandalika Circuit three years ago, Oliveira needs to quickly improve his performance before the summer break to secure his position.
