Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin ready for BWF World Tour debut at Macau Open

Indonesian men’s doubles pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin will make their BWF World Tour debut at the Macau Open 2025 — a Super 300 tournament set to take place at the Macau East Asian Games Dome.

The tournament, scheduled for July 29 to August 3, 2025, will be a proving ground for the pair trained by Chafidz Yusuf — a coach known for architecting the success of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu.

Under Chafidz’s guidance in PBSI’s primary men’s doubles sector, Raymond/Joaquin have shown remarkable progress by securing four titles from five tournaments:

  • Singapore International
  • Sri Lanka International
  • Luxembourg Open
  • Denmark Challenge 2025

This achievement marks their successful transition from junior to senior level in international badminton competition.
