Raphinha Surpasses Messi’s Champions League Record at Barcelona

Raphinha achieved a remarkable milestone with Barcelona in the Champions League, surpassing a record previously held by Lionel Messi — a feat that now places him among elite names such as Cristiano Ronaldo.

His decision to stay at Barcelona this season has proven to be the right one, despite earlier speculation that he would leave Camp Nou due to a stagnant career during his first two seasons.

Newly appointed head coach Hansi Flick, who joined in May, played a crucial role in convincing the Brazilian winger to stay. Flick also granted him a more flexible role in the attacking line.
