Raphinha supports Barcelona’s move to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao

According to Fabrizio Romano, Nico Williams is moving closer to Barcelona — following the Catalan club’s successful signing of goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol.

The Ghanaian-descent winger has agreed to a six-year contract with Barcelona until June 2031 — accepting a salary reduction from 10 million euros to 7-8 million euros per season.

Raphinha fully supports Williams’ potential transfer to Camp Nou — while Barcelona still needs to reach an agreement with Athletic Bilbao who demands the player’s release clause to be met.
