Raphinha Criticizes Xavi Ahead of Barcelona vs Inter Clash

Ahead of the clash against Inter Milan, Raphinha has voiced his frustration with former Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez.

Having joined Barcelona about three years ago, the Brazilian winger has posted impressive numbers — 87 appearances, 20 goals, and 25 assists across all competitions.

Despite his contributions, Raphinha admitted feeling underappreciated due to Xavi’s tactical decisions, especially being substituted before full-time in most matches. Out of all his appearances, he only played the full 90 minutes nine times.

“I felt that he and his staff didn’t really trust me,” Raphinha told Mundo Deportivo.
