RAMZES666 Hints at Dota 2 Comeback

Former professional Dota 2 player Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev has recently revealed his plans to return to competitive Dota 2 in the near future.

During his latest Twitch livestream, Ramzes announced that he has formed a new team and intends to compete in the upcoming open qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2025. However, he kept details about his teammates under wraps, offering no hints about their identities.

However, this does not guarantee a return to the player role. Speculation is mounting that Ramzes may instead debut as the team’s coach—a pivot seemingly aligned with his recent career trajectory. His long-term involvement will hinge entirely on the squad’s performance during their journey to Riyadh.

This news comes as a major surprise to the Dota 2 community, which has eagerly awaited Ramzes’ return to competitive play. The Russian player previously decided to retire after his stint with L1GA Team in mid-2024, stating he had lost interest in professional gaming and wanted to focus on growing his personal Twitch channel.
