Raja Isa shares views on Indonesia U-17 national team achievements

Raja Isa — the Malaysian coach — shares his perspective on Indonesia U-17 national team’s significant progress in international competitions.

Garuda Asia achieved notable success in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup — advancing from the group stage after defeating South Korea, Yemen, and Afghanistan.

Though the team’s journey ended in the quarter-finals against North Korea, they achieved their main goal — securing automatic qualification for the 2025 U-17 World Cup.

“For me, we don’t need to feel pressured by what Indonesia has achieved,” stated Raja Isa regarding Malaysia’s failure to qualify for the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup.
