Rain Delays Second ODI Between England and India at Lord’s

According to live reports from Lord’s, the second ODI between England and India faced a four-hour delay due to heavy morning rain — resulting in a reduction to 29 overs per side.

Nat Sciver-Brunt as England captain won the toss and decided to bowl first in improving weather conditions with blue sky patches breaking through the overcast conditions.

The home team made three changes from the side that lost the first match. Maia Bouchier replaced Alice Davidson-Richards, while Linsey Smith and Em Arlott also earned playing opportunities.

India made one change with Arundhati Reddy replacing Amanjot Kaur in the bowling attack.
