Rahmat Arjuna determined to improve performance with U-23 National Team

Rahmat Arjuna — Bali United striker called up to Indonesia’s U-23 national team — has expressed his determination to improve his performance during the training camp.

Despite scoring six goals in Liga 1, the young player realizes that this achievement doesn’t guarantee a spot in the national team.

“Although I’ve scored 6 goals in Liga 1, that’s not yet a guarantee. I still need to improve myself, especially in terms of finishing against opponents,” stated Rahmat Arjuna.

Coach Gerald Vanenburg has called up 30 players for the training camp, including several goalkeepers and defenders:

  • Goalkeepers: Cahya Supriadi (PSIM), Daffa Fasya (Borneo FC), Erlangga Setyo (PSPS Pekanbaru), Muhammad Ardiansyah (PSM), Husna Al Malik (Persik), Sheva Sanggasi (Persib)
  • Defenders: Kadek Arel Priyatna (Bali United), Muhammad Ferrari (No club), Rahmat Syawal (PSIS), Alfhafrezzi Buffon (Borneo), Brandon Scheunemann (Arema FC), Ahmad Maulana (Arema), Kakang Rudianto (Persib), Frengky Missa (Bhayangkara FC), Mikael A. Tata (Persebaya)
