Rahmat Arjuna aims to break into Indonesia U-23 main squad

Rahmat Arjuna Reski, Bali United striker, has earned an opportunity to join Indonesia U-23 national team — he is among 30 players called up by coach Gerald Vanenburg for ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 preparations.

The training camp will take place in Jakarta from today until mid-July — this marks the first gathering of the Young Garuda squad under Vanenburg, who also serves as senior national team assistant to Patrick Kluivert.

Despite not being familiar with his new coach’s style, Rahmat Arjuna is determined to maximize this opportunity — his main target is securing a spot in the team’s core lineup.

This represents a new era for Indonesia U-23 team that previously shared coaches with the senior squad — now Vanenburg has been given full trust to lead the younger generation.
