Rahmad Darmawan faces time challenge ahead of 2025 President’s Cup

Rahmad Darmawan — the Liga Indonesia All Star coach — faces a challenging situation in team preparation ahead of the 2025 President’s Cup.

The tactician commonly known as RD only has five days to prepare his squad — an extremely short period to build chemistry and tactical understanding between players.

“I think the training material is more about how to prepare tactics. Because I hope they can quickly adapt to what we will do,” stated RD.

The team led by the former Barito Putera coach will play their first match against Oxford United in Group A — a game that will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta.
