Rahmad Darmawan appointed as Liga Indonesia All Star coach

Rahmad Darmawan has officially been entrusted to lead Liga Indonesia All Star — the team that will compete in the 2025 President’s Cup starting early July.

The squad consisting of 30 local Liga 1 2024-2025 players was formed through a voting system for its players — however, a different mechanism was applied in selecting the coach.

Rahmad Darmawan revealed that the limited number of local coaches in Liga 1 this season became a major consideration in the selection process. The man commonly known as Coach RD mentioned that initially there were three candidates considered for the head coach position.
