Rafael Struick parts ways with Brisbane Roar, Liga 1 clubs show interest

Dutch player Rafael Struick has officially ended his cooperation with Brisbane Roar after spending one season in the Australian competition.

The former ADO Den Haag academy player — who was previously a regular starter at the club — decided to seek new experience at Brisbane Roar, but his career didn’t flourish with only 10 appearances and one goal.

Struick’s position in the Indonesian national team is also under threat — as Ole Romeny has become head coach Patrick Kluivert’s primary choice for the Garuda’s frontline.

The Leidschendam-born player is now searching for a new club to continue his career, with several Liga 1 teams reportedly showing interest.
