The Italian coach officially joined I Rossoneri at the end of May with a three-year contract for the 2025-2026 season — marking his return to the club he previously led.

Allegri previously managed the fashion city club for four seasons during the period 2010 to 2014 — making this return a reunification after 11 years apart.
