Rafael Leao is showing positive signs as AC Milan’s new main striker through formation experiments by coach Massimiliano Allegri in preseason.

After a less than optimal performance with a 5-4-1 formation against Arsenal in Singapore, the Portuguese player finally found his rhythm — this time in a 3-5-2 formation alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

At Kai Tak Sports Park Stadium, Hong Kong, Leao delivered an impressive performance with one goal and one assist in AC Milan’s 4-2 victory over Liverpool. Despite playing only 63 minutes, his performance received positive evaluation from Allegri.
