Rachmat Irianto joins Persebaya after leaving Persib

Rachmat Irianto has officially joined Persebaya Surabaya — marking a new challenge after departing from Persib Bandung last week.

The 25-year-old midfielder achieved remarkable success with Persib since joining in the 2022-2023 season — securing two consecutive Liga 1 titles in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons.

His final season with Maung Bandung was hampered by injury — limiting him to just 12 appearances in Liga 1. Rachmat Irianto revealed that his decision to leave Persib was motivated by his desire to be closer to his mother.
