Quinn Accused of Reputation Boosting in Dota 2

Gaimin Gladiators’ Dota 2 star, Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, is back in the spotlight of the global Dota community. This follows a recent discovery by a Reddit user, which has since spread across social media.

Screenshots from user AmbitiousConcept6028 suggest Quinn used overleaver accounts (accounts of players who intentionally leave games) and smurf accounts to improve the reputation of his main account. His main account frequently receives low priority penalties due to toxic behavior like flaming and abusive language in pub.

Several community figures also noted the American player hasn’t stopped his bad habits despite warnings in previous seasons. After all, Quinn is well-known for receiving reports for this behavior, especially in ranked matches.

The situation also drew reactions from fellow pro players who have played with him. While Quinn’s mechanical skill as a carry is acknowledged by top players, many have complained about his toxic conduct when they team up with or play against him in pubs.

So far, Quinn hasn’t responded to these surprising allegations. Given his history of past controversies, it seems he likely won’t be bothered by negative community reactions unless they directly affect the competitions he participates in.
