Quartararo surprises paddock with fastest time in Dutch MotoGP FP

Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha achieved a surprising feat in Dutch MotoGP practice session — the French rider set the fastest time at Assen Circuit.

The rider nicknamed El Diablo managed to clock 1 minute 31.156 seconds — a significant 1.8-second improvement from his previous lap time of 1 minute 32.956 seconds.

“I didn’t expect to achieve this time in the afternoon and be the fastest, considering how we started this morning,” stated Quartararo.

“It was a very good practice. I felt comfortable with the bike. I set my lap time on the third lap because of traffic and some riders overtaking in a very strange way before the lap started. But in the end we only made one attack and it was positive,” he added.
