Quartararo satisfied with performance on wet Brno track

According to Speedweek, Monster Energy Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo optimally utilized wet conditions at Brno Circuit during yesterday’s Czech MotoGP practice session. The French rider managed to set the third fastest time — behind Marc Marquez and Johann Zarco.

Quartararo showed significant performance improvement — after previously being stranded in 11th position during free practice. Heavy rain conditions proved to be a supporting factor for his Yamaha M1 motorcycle’s performance.

“When conditions are really wet, I feel very good. When some parts are wet but not fully wet anymore, it’s a bit difficult. However, I still managed to set a good time,” stated Quartararo.

“When the grip is good, our bike works quite well. However, it will certainly be difficult to maintain these conditions,” he added.
