Quartararo reveals Yamaha bike issues at Assen Circuit after crash

Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha faces serious challenges at Assen Circuit — a venue that was previously one of his favorites following his victory in 2021.

The French rider crashed during the 2025 Dutch MotoGP sprint race, continuing his unfortunate trend when starting from pole position this season. The circuit nicknamed Cathedral of Speed has instead highlighted the declining performance of the Yamaha motorcycle.

Historically, Assen Circuit has been a favorable arena for Yamaha — with 11 victories in the premier class. However, the technological regression of the M1 bike in recent years has significantly impacted their performance on this Dutch track.
