Quartararo optimistic about performance at Dutch GP

Fabio Quartararo expresses optimism about performing well at this weekend’s Dutch GP — following performance dips in his last two races.

The 26-year-old Yamaha rider started the European season impressively, securing three consecutive pole positions. However, his performance declined at the Aragon and Italian GPs.

Assen circuit’s different conditions compared to Mugello give Quartararo confidence in returning to competitiveness:

“This is one of the weekends where I can say on Thursday that if the weather is good, we can achieve a good result and be competitive in every session,” stated the 2021 Dutch GP winner.

Four advantageous factors at Assen:

  • Track without long straights
  • Cooler air temperatures
  • High-grip asphalt surface
  • Low tire degradation

Alex Rins, Quartararo’s teammate, also dismissed rumors about lingering old injuries. “I’m 100% fit and have no issues riding the bike,” he affirmed.
