Quartararo Makes History with 20th Pole Position at Dutch MotoGP

Fabio Quartararo achieved a remarkable milestone at Assen Circuit — the Yamaha rider secured pole position during Dutch MotoGP 2025 qualifying on Saturday (28/6/2025).

The 26-year-old rider outpaced his closest rival Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati team — his best lap time of 1 minute 30.651 seconds was marginally faster by 0.028 seconds.

This achievement at Assen makes Quartararo the third rider in Yamaha history to claim 20 pole positions in MotoGP class — this feat has accumulated since joining the Japanese factory team in 2019.

Alex Rins‘ teammate dominated throughout the 15-minute qualifying session — this pole position becomes his fourth in the 2025 season.
