Quartararo loses podium after incident with Bezzecchi in Czech MotoGP

Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha experienced an incident with Marco Bezzecchi that affected his Czech MotoGP sprint race result at Brno Circuit.

Starting from third position, the French rider — aboard his Yamaha YZR-M1 — was involved in an incident when Bezzecchi made contact with his motorcycle. Fortunately, both riders maintained their balance and continued racing.

Despite holding fourth position, Quartararo eventually dropped to fifth place after being overtaken by Bezzecchi in the final laps of the 10-lap sprint race.

The 2021 MotoGP world champion expressed satisfaction with his performance — he was able to analyze his bike’s strengths and compare performance with his rivals on track.
