Quartararo dominates Dutch MotoGP practice amid multiple crashes

Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha posted the fastest time during the 2025 Dutch MotoGP practice session at Assen Circuit — the French rider clocked an impressive 1 minute 31.156 seconds.

Alex Marquez from Gresini team and Pedro Acosta from Red Bull KTM secured second and third positions, while Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati claimed fifth place.

The practice session experienced two red flag interruptions following serious accidents involving Ai Ogura from Trackhouse Aprilia and Lorenzo Savadori from Aprilia — both incidents forced temporary session stoppages.

• Fermin Aldeguer, Johann Zarco, and Franco Morbidelli suffered consecutive crashes
• Enea Bastianini and Aleix Espargaro also had incidents at minute nine
• Marc Marquez fell near session end but still qualified for Q2

Despite numerous incidents, the top ten riders secured direct tickets to the second qualifying session (Q2).
