Quartararo Claims Dutch MotoGP Pole Position at Assen Circuit

Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha demonstrated brilliant performance by claiming pole position in Dutch MotoGP 2025 qualifying session at Assen Circuit.

The French rider set the best time of 1 minute 30.651 seconds — making him the fastest rider throughout this weekend on the Dutch track.

This marks Quartararo’s fourth pole position this season after previously dominating qualifications at Spanish, British, and French GPs.

The front row of the starting grid will be filled by:

  • Francesco Bagnaia in second position
  • Alex Marquez in third position
  • Marc Marquez securing fourth position

In Q1 session, Trackhouse Aprilia duo — Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura led the top positions, but Ogura suffered a crash at Turn 8 with five minutes remaining in the session.
