Quartararo Claims Dutch GP Pole Position, Bagnaia Second

Fabio Quartararo demonstrated his prowess at Assen circuit — the Yamaha rider claimed Dutch GP pole position after setting the fastest time in qualifying.

The front row of the starting grid will feature three different riders — Francesco Bagnaia with factory Ducati in second and Alex Marquez from Gresini Ducati completing third position.

Marc Marquez had to settle for fourth position, despite suffering two crashes during Friday practice. The factory Ducati rider appeared uncomfortable while handling his bike at the high-speed Drenthe circuit.

Raul Fernandez with Trackhouse Aprilia successfully advanced from Q1, unlike his teammate Ai Ogura who crashed and will start from 20th position. Meanwhile, Enea Bastianini received a three-position grid penalty after blocking Alex Rins during Q1.

Second row of the grid will be occupied by:
* Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia)
* Franco Morbidelli (VR46 Ducati)
* Fermin Aldeguer (rookie)
