Pyunik vs Tre Fiori: Europa Conference League Prediction (17.07.2025)

On Thursday, July 17 at 23:00 WIB, Pyunik will host Tre Fiori from Fiorentino at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan for the second leg of the 2025–2026 UEFA Conference League qualification. The first leg ended in a surprising result, as the team from San Marino defeated the Armenian side 1-0.

Despite Tre Fiori’s win in the first match, bookmakers give them almost no chance in the return leg. A Pyunik victory in regular time is priced at 1.08, while qualification odds stand at 1.10. For the “Yellow and Blues,” odds for a win and progression are 23.00 and 6.35 respectively. Football analysts expect a high-scoring game, with over 3 goals offered at 1.52. However, goals are expected only from the favorite, as the “both teams to score” market is priced at a relatively high 2.60.

Pyunik

Yegishe Melikyan has been coaching the team for over four years, so there are few justifications for the first-leg defeat. True, Pyunik isn’t currently among the top three Armenian clubs, but losing to a team that isn’t even the best in San Marino is unacceptable.

At the pre-match press conference, Pyunik’s head coach stated that the team is determined to make up for the failure away from home. To be fair, the Yerevan club lost several key players this summer, but they also brought in a number of new signings.

Tre Fiori

Danilo Girolomoni’s team played the first match exactly as expected — defensively. The “Yellow and Blues” completely ceded control of the game, which is reflected in the statistics: 31% possession to 69%, shots 4 to 22, shots on target 3 to 6, and corners 1 to 9. The only goal came in the 63rd minute from 23-year-old Matteo Manfroni, a Juventus academy graduate. However, it’s worth noting that he never broke into Juventus’ youth team, which speaks to the overall level of players at Tre Fiori.

Stats and Head-to-Head Record

Aside from last week’s encounter, the teams had never met before. Both clubs are coming off a summer break, as their domestic leagues ended in late May.

Prediction

Judging by the statistics, Pyunik was simply unlucky in the first match. However, it’s also worth noting that only 6 of their 22 shots were on target. Hopefully, they will be sharper at home, and we recommend betting on over 1.5 goals in the first half at odds of 1.88.
