PV Sindhu eliminated in first round of Japan Open 2025

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu — the former Indian badminton queen — has faced another early exit at the Japan Open 2025 taking place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

The shuttler commonly known as PV Sindhu had to acknowledge the superiority of young South Korean player, Sim Yu-jin, in the round of 32 match played today.

The presence of coach Irwansyah has yet to transform Sindhu’s performance — the athlete currently experiencing a difficult period continues to show play far below expectations.
