PSSI Sets Championship Target for U-23 Team in ASEAN Cup 2025

Speaking at Madya Senayan Stadium, manager Ahmed Zaki Iskandar confirmed PSSI’s target for Indonesia U-23 national team — to win ASEAN Cup 2025.

The tournament, which will take place at two venues — Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium Jakarta and Patriot Stadium Bekasi — places the Red and White team in Group A alongside three neighboring countries.

Vietnam, having dominated this tournament with championship titles in 2022 and 2023, presents the main challenge for Indonesia who last lifted the trophy about six years ago under Indra Sjafri’s guidance.

“The target given by PSSI to us is to become ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 champions,” stated Ahmed Zaki Iskandar.
