PSSI prepares U-16 Women’s National Team for two international tournaments

Erick Thohir as PSSI Chairman announced preparations for Indonesia’s U-16 Women’s National Team to compete in two major international tournaments — the AFF U-16 Cup and 2026 AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers.

Both tournaments are scheduled to take place consecutively — the AFF U-16 Cup next August and the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers in September 2025.

PSSI has established a player selection strategy that will draw from the Piala Pertiwi U-16 2025 competition — currently underway in Kudus.
