PSSI Prioritizes Naturalized Strikers for Indonesia

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir revealed updates on the naturalization process of two players projected to strengthen the Indonesia national team’s attacking line, as reported by Bolasport.com.

Erick Thohir, who also serves as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, emphasized that the striker position is the top priority in the current naturalization efforts, noting that Indonesia already has quality options in midfield and defense.

The naturalization process is expected to be completed before the September 2025 FIFA Matchday, which comes just one month ahead of the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers set to begin in October.
