PSSI Hopes Patrick Kluivert Starts Training Camp Soon

PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi has expressed his hope that Patrick Kluivert will begin the training camp with the Indonesia national football team soon, given the crucial schedule ahead for the Garuda squad.

The Indonesia national football team still has two remaining matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers:

  • Against the China national football team at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in early June

  • Away to the Japan national football team at Suita City Football Stadium in mid-June

Indonesia currently sits fourth in Group C with 9 points. Japan leads the table with 20 points and has already secured qualification, while Australia is second with 13 points and Saudi Arabia is third with 10 points.

Indonesia still has a fighting chance to advance — but only with strong performances in their remaining two matches.
