PSSI appoints Joko Susilo to replace Satoru Mochizuki as Women’s National Team coach

PSSI Executive Committee member Vivin Cahyani announced the change in Indonesia Women’s National Team coaching position — Satoru Mochizuki has been replaced by Joko Susilo who will serve as interim coach.

This decision follows the national team’s failure to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup during the qualification tournament in Tangerang. The Indonesian team, competing in Group D, only collected three points — securing one victory against Kyrgyzstan but suffering defeats to Pakistan and Taiwan.

Though no longer serving as head coach, Mochizuki will continue contributing to Indonesian women’s football development — PSSI is focusing his role on higher-level development.
