PSS Sleman recruits national minifootball player Junior Haqi

PSS Sleman announced the recruitment of new player Muhammad Junior Haqi from the Indonesian National Minifootball Team on Tuesday (8/7).

“Muhammad Junior Haqi, member of Indonesian National Minifootball Team, officially becomes Super Elja’s latest recruit to provide an option for breaking through opponent’s defense,” stated the club’s official announcement.

The Tanjung Priok-born player — who recently represented Indonesia at the Minifootball World Cup two months ago — is expected to strengthen the team’s attacking line in their mission for promotion to Liga 1 in the 2025-2026 season.

“This Tanjung Priok-born youth has committed to work hard to contribute many goals for PSS.”

Super Elang Jawa continues to strengthen their squad by retaining key players and bringing in new talent — including Haqi who has experience in the mini football format with seven players per team.
