PSM U-18 Coach Hasn’t Received EPA Liga 1 Championship Prize

PSM Makassar U-18 coach, Muhammad Irfan Rahman, states he hasn’t received the Elite Pro Academy (EPA) Liga 1 U-18 2024/2025 championship prize — despite the competition ending two months ago.

The team under Muhammad Irfan Rahman secured the title after defeating Persija Jakarta U-17 through penalty shootout 4-2 at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi — following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Meanwhile, PT Liga Indonesia Baru CEO, Ferry Paulus, highlights EPA’s role in national team success — with 22 out of 25 Indonesia U-17 national team players being products of EPA Liga 1 competition.

“Indonesia U-17 national team’s success in qualifying for U-17 World Cup 2025 is inseparable from EPA’s success held every season,” says Ferry Paulus.

PSSI Executive Committee member, Arya Sinulingga, adds that U-17 national team achievements in Asian Cup and World Cup qualification — result from federation’s youth development program.
