Under pressure from a packed fixture list, PSM Makassar is set to compete against Cong An Ha Noi FC in the ASEAN Club Championship on April 30. This will be followed by a Liga 1 clash against PSS Sleman on May 3. With only four days between matches, the team’s coach, Bernardo Tavares, has expressed frustration over the tight schedule.

Bernardo Tavares Criticizes PT LIB for Unequal Treatment of PSM Makassar

Tavares voiced his dissatisfaction with PT LIB’s scheduling policy, pointing out a clear discrepancy in the treatment of teams. He questioned why Madura United, which is also competing at the Asian level, was given flexibility in its match schedule while PSM Makassar’s requests for similar accommodations were ignored.

“If they change the schedule for Madura team competing internationally, why don’t we get the same treatment? We are also competing in international competition,” Bernardo Tavares said, emphasizing the need for fair treatment across teams.
