PSM Makassar begins Liga 1 preparation under Bernardo Tavares

PSM Makassar Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rafiuddin Razak revealed the team’s preparation plans for Liga 1 2025-2026 — Juku Eja team will continue under coach Bernardo Tavares with championship aspirations.

Although PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) hasn’t announced the official schedule, the competition is expected to begin in early August — giving teams about two months to prepare.

“For PSM Makassar in Liga 2025-2026, preparations are proceeding as usual. We still have 2 months to prepare since the league is likely to start in August,” explained Rafiuddin Razak.

The team hasn’t begun training sessions and is still finalizing its squad — team preparation is scheduled to commence in early July.
