PSIS Semarang Determined to Avoid Relegation With Three Matches Remaining

PSIS Semarang Fights to Escape Liga 1 Relegation Zone

PSIS Semarang, currently at the bottom of the Liga 1 2024–2025 standings, is not giving up on survival. The Mahesa Jenar squad has managed only 25 points from 31 matches, sitting six points behind Semen Padang, the lowest-ranked team in the safe zone.

Despite the challenging situation, caretaker coach M Ridwan remains optimistic. He emphasized that the team is still committed to fighting until the end.

“Our chances are slim, but we haven’t given up. We must win all remaining matches to stay in Liga 1,” said M Ridwan.

PSIS will undergo focused preparations ahead of their final three crucial matches, which will ultimately decide their fate in Indonesia’s top-flight football competition.
