PSIS Semarang and PSS Sleman appoint new coaches for Liga 2

Two recently relegated clubs from Liga 1 — PSIS Semarang and PSS Sleman — have announced the appointment of new coaches for the upcoming Liga 2 2025-2026 season.

Last season proved challenging for both teams — PSS Sleman finished 16th with 34 points from 34 matches, while PSIS Semarang struggled at the bottom of the table with only 25 points collected.

Both clubs have now taken strategic steps by appointing new tacticians — starting with PSIS Semarang who hope to make a swift return to Indonesia’s top flight football.
