PSIM Yogyakarta signs Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Vidal

Liga 1 promotion club PSIM Yogyakarta has announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Vidal through their official social media.

“Strengthening our squad, new addition, new energy. Ezequiel ‘Pulga’ Vidal joins PSIM Yogya,” stated the club’s official account.

Ezequiel Vidal — nicknamed La Pulga like Lionel Messi due to his small 168 cm frame — already has experience in Indonesian football.

The 29-year-old midfielder previously played for Persita Tangerang for two seasons during 2022-2024 — before continuing his career with Punjab FC in the Indian League last season.
