PSIM Yogyakarta gets permission to use Maguwoharjo Stadium with special conditions

Following the direction of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, PSIM Yogyakarta management met with Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya to discuss the use of Maguwoharjo Stadium — PSS Sleman’s home ground.

The meeting held yesterday resulted in principle approval from Sleman Regency for PSIM Yogyakarta — who can no longer use Mandala Krida Stadium as their home venue in next season’s Liga 1.

While receiving the green light, there are several requirements that Laskar Mataram must fulfill:

• Yield to PSS Sleman’s match schedule
• Comply with strict security protocols
• Provide security guarantees during matches

This decision becomes a solution for PSIM Yogyakarta who needs a new home ground for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 competition.
