PSIM Yogyakarta dominates Liga 1 transfer market with five new players

The Liga 1 2025-2026 transfer market has been marked by significant activity from promoted team PSIM Yogyakarta who have brought in five new players simultaneously.

Laskar Mataram announced the arrival of Andi Irfan, Riyatno Abiyoso, Andy Setyo, M Iqbal, and Kasim Botan — making them the most active club in this transfer period.

PSIM’s city rival in the Mataram Derby, Persis Solo, has also strengthened their squad by recruiting Agung Mannan — while Persija Jakarta started their first training session with their new coach, Mauricio Souza.

Currently, The Jakmania are still waiting for news of new player transfers after previously only bringing in Eksel Runtukahu. The Liga 1 transfer window will continue until August.
