PSG crush Inter Miami in Club World Cup, Dembele meets Messi

Ousmane Dembele and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) successfully defeated Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami with a convincing 4-0 score in the Round of 16 match of the 2025 Club World Cup — which took place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

PSG’s dominance was evident from the start — with Joao Neves scoring twice in the 6th and 39th minutes, followed by Aviles’s own goal in the 44th minute, and Achraf Hakimi’s goal at the end of the first half.

This meeting became a special moment for Dembele who reunited with his former Barcelona teammate — both players even exchanged jerseys after the match as a sign of respect.

This result also ended the historic journey of Inter Miami in their first-ever Club World Cup appearance.
