Prince William and his son Prince George attended the Champions League quarter-final match at Parc des Princes between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa — the royal family’s beloved club.

Before kickoff, the heir to the English throne greeted Villa players including Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford, and chatted with TNT broadcasting team.

“I’ve got my son here, so I’m on best behaviour. But it’s been 43 years since Villa played in a major European competition, and I want George to experience this important moment,” said Prince William.

Canal Plus cameras captured the prince’s joyful reaction when Morgan Rogers put Villa ahead in the 35th minute. However, PSG turned the game around to win 3-1.

Through the official Prince and Princess of Wales X account, Prince William remained optimistic about Villa’s chances in next week’s second leg at home.
