Premier League 2025-26 schedule: Arsenal face tough season start

The Premier League schedule for the 2025-26 season has been officially released. Arsenal face a challenging opening fixture — they must travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

The Gunners’ tough challenge continues with away matches against Liverpool and Newcastle United, plus hosting Manchester City in their first six games. Defending champions Liverpool will start their title defense by hosting AFC Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday night.

Thomas Frank will begin his new era as Tottenham manager with a home game against Burnley, before facing a difficult November schedule — facing Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal in succession.

Pep Guardiola and Manchester City start their season with a trip to Wolves’ home ground, followed by a series of difficult matches against Tottenham, Manchester United, and Arsenal in their first five games.

The competition will end on May 24, 2026 — giving players less than three weeks to prepare for the 2026 World Cup in the United States.
