Postecoglou Follows Malaysian National Team after Former Assistant Becomes Coach

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has turned his attention to the Malaysian national team following the appointment of his former assistant Peter Cklamovski as head coach.

From European glory to Asian support

Postecoglou is currently riding high after guiding Tottenham Hotspur to victory in the Europa League, where they defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the final held in Bilbao.

Before his European success, the Australian tactician made a name for himself in Asian football — leading the Australian national team to notable achievements and steering Yokohama F. Marinos to a J1 League title in Japan.

Continuing legacy in Asia through Cklamovski

Now, Postecoglou’s Asian legacy continues through Cklamovski, who was appointed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to replace Kim Pan-gon as head coach of Harimau Malaya earlier this January.

Cklamovski previously worked alongside Postecoglou during his stints with Australia and Yokohama F. Marinos, and his appointment has sparked interest and support from his former mentor.
